We offer Free Kayaks!  Not all lakefront Lake George motels offer "free kayaks." Free Kayaking is Fun & Easy at our Lake George NY Beachfront Resort Motel! 

Golden Sands Resort offers "One-Person and Two-Person" kayaks for guest use.  Life jackets provided, and are required by NYS law. 

- Free Kayaks are available to our guests only during regular office hours: 9:00am until 5:00 pm, after which they are locked for the evening (no exceptions);
- Driver's License and $25.00 refundable deposit is required for "each" free kayak used  (adults must accompany children while kayaking at all times);
- One hour maximum time limit applies to allow other guests kayak use (after first hour if free kayaks are still available, a second guest hour applies);
- Late returns and damage to free kayaks and paddles may result in deposit forfeit of deposit.  Free Kayaks are a delightful way to see and enjoy Lake George;
- Know your level of kayak boating expertise ... Kayak use restricted to within 100 feet of shore.  Guests may not take kayaks across lake or in deep open water.   
- The above is for your personal safety, and safe free kayak usage at Golden Sands Resort beach motel. Kayak use carries with it the risk of injury or even death.
