February, 2012 - We had a very nice summer, 2011 family vacation. It was very relaxing, and we didn't want to leave! Our children said it was "Better than Disney!" We're coming back in June, and we're bringing our friends!

When we first heard about Lake George, New York, we heard it was very beautiful with fresh clean air and very family oriented with lots of things to do to keep the family entertained. We stayed at Golden Sands Resort and enjoyed taking the trolley to the Village. The Golden Sands beach was very clean and comfortable, and barbequed every night we were there! The bonfire on the beach at night was the children's favorite!

Thanks Bob, Great time had by all! The Fowler family loved it. You really can't predict the weather. The only thing is a week goes by so quick. Maybe we can steal a 3 day weekend in August!!! We'll call and let you know. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

I am getting married this summer on Lake George and the owner has gone out of his way to accommodate my family and friends and taken the stress off of me. My entire wedding party and family will be staying at the resort for the weekend. I have been vacationing on Lake George for the past 20 years since I was a young girl and think that this is by far the best place to stay as far as availability, prices, accommodations, beach, and location. You can't find a place like this anywhere else on the lake!!! The added bonus is that I currently live in Tennessee and will be moving right after the wedding and I don't have to kennel my dog, she can come too!!!

Our family has been going to Lake George,NY for years and years. We've stayed at other lakeside motels, but when we found Golden Sands Motel, we fell in love with the beach and other things to do, and our children and we have been coming back year after year ever since! We love the lake view rooms the best!
