Deposit Policy:  Deposits are required to guarantee your reservation. Deposits are security against vacancies that may be caused by cancellations. A canceled room cannot always be filled. Deposits are a commitment for the full amount of the time reserved. Deposits may be made by personal check, money order or bank draft, (sorry, no credit cards). Deposits for ‘Last Minute’ reservations must be paid by bank or postal money order and sent by 2-day or overnight mail. Deposits are refundable when written cancellation is received up to 30 days prior to arrival date subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Thereafter, there are no refunds of deposits. Rooms are held for period of 5 days from the date reservation is made to allow time for your deposit to arrive. A confirmation will be mailed to you upon receipt of your deposit. It is the guests’ responsibility to ensure and confirm that deposits were received by Golden Sands Resort and confirmation information is correct. If you extend.  your stay, an additional deposit will be required. Reservation dates changed less than ten days prior to arrival may incur a surcharge of one night’s rate. Balance is due at check-in. Prepaid deposits are non-refundable. We cannot be responsible for late arrivals or early departures due to weather or any other circumstances. There are no refunds for early departure, no exceptions.
